Christmas presents, birthday presents, graduation presents, whatever the occassion, it seems we're all constantly swapping gifts. People are asking us what we want and usually, we rattle a few things off the top of our heads. Your loved ones spend time and (sometimes) experience quite a bit of angst in trying to get us the things for which we've asked. In the end, we get lots of thoughtful gifts.

Some of it is great.

Some, not as much... you get duplicates... you get things that aren't quite what you had in mind.

People close to you spent time and effort to make you happy, but now you have returns to get together, errands to run, things to mail back. You have work.

It's no one's fault... but there must be a way to keep this from happening.
